Lucy Searle is an editor, journalist, web and copywriter, who was Editor of the hugely successful www.channel4.com/4homes, taking it from a small site to a leading brand that regularly ranked in the Experian Hitwise Top 10 for its category. The team was the winner of the Gold Tweet and of the Design & Craft Award 2009/10, Royal Television Society. The pages of the site also ranked in the top three of Google searches.

Lucy was also founding Editor of Channel 4’s 4Homes magazine, was Associate Editor at Ideal Home and has written for MSN, House Beautiful, Good Homes, and many women’s titles.  She has written about everything from buying and selling property, self build, DIY, design and consumer issues to gardening.
